Beetham Family Farm Cemetery

Location:
North of the Palgrave mill pond, Caledon, Peel Region, Ontario, Canada.
Concession 6, lot 28, Albion Township.

History:
The burial ground of Thomas Beetham was located on his farm just north of Palgave mill pond. He buried two of his children and his dog in a plot on top of the hill that overlooks the village. Some time later his sons buried him in the same plot.

It was reported that he was a soldier for the Crown, probably during the War or 1812, and that he lies in his grave “to await the last Great Reveille.”

There is no sign of the burials at the site on the farm.
