Meetings & Events
Our meetings are normally held at 2:00 p.m. on the fourth Sunday of each month with the exception of June, July, August and December. Visitors are always welcome. The Branch Annual General Meeting is held along with our regular meeting in November.
Monthly meetings are divided between the Four Corners Branch of the Brampton Public Library at 65 Queen Street East (near the Peel Archives) and the Oakville Public Library at 120 Navy Street, Oakville, Ontario.
Our May meeting for the past few years has been a “Genealogy Roadshow” which may be held at a different location.
Note: Brampton Library parking – there is limited library parking on the east and west sides of the library. On Sundays there is also on-street parking behind the library. There is free underground parking at Brampton City Hall (two blocks west) entrance from George Street-after parking take the elevator to the main floor, exit to and cross Main Street and walk one block down John Street (next to the church) to the library.
Note: Oakville Library parking – parking is available at the rear entrance off Water St. Parking is free on a Sunday (please refer to the map).
